Mobilize to close the SOA!
Help needed in New England!

From November 16-18 tens of thousands of people from from throughout the Americas will gather at Ft. Benning to demonstrate against the US School of the Americas. SOA Watch New England and Witness for Peace New England are looking for organizers and activists in the region to assist with the mobilization, particularly with:

Housing (Looking at housing options in Colombus, making reservations, etc)

Transportation (Comparing options for bus and van rentals; looking at air travel options; deciding pick up locations; etc)

Outreach (Contacting local groups about the mobilization; flyering on campuses and public areas; envelope sealing; etc)

Fundraising (Making donations; Soliciting donations; etc)

Media (Editing press releases and articles; Sending out press releases; Writing letters to the editor; Calling media; etc).

Local Action Organizers (Folks who want to organize/assist with actions for people who can not travel to Colombus; etc)
