Witness for Peace, New England is a regional association whose mission is to support and carry out the work of national Witness for Peace, a politically independent, grass-roots organization committed to non-violence and led by faith and conscience. As a grass-roots movement Witness for Peace, New England seeks to raise awareness of and give testimony to violations of human rights in Latin America and the Caribbean and to advocate for U.S. economic and social policies that support these basic rights.

In accordance with this mission Witness for Peace, New England presents conferences, retreats, speakers' tours, publishes newsletters, and sponsors delegations to Latin American and Caribbean countries.

Delegates witness the realities of poor country debt, sweatshop employment, threatening militaries, and other sources of hardship and suffering.

Informed by first-hand relationships, Witness for Peace, New England works with people of faith and conscience to develop skills and strategies that will transform destructive U.S. policies to ones of life, opportunity and hope.
