Cuba, this island jewel, vibrant with color, art, architecture, music, dance, verdant flora. And rich with the fruits of a social justice constitution: universal, free & effective healthcare; state-supported arts and restoration; universal literacy; a right to food and a burgeoning local, sustainable agriculture.

Your appreciation of Cuba will be deepened by meetings with Cuban scholars, farmers, artists and performers. Visits to schools and meetings with students and teachers will help us explore Cuba’s educational system. Cultural activities will be broad and inclusive, centered in Havana, but traveling further into the countryside as well.

All planned activities will include extended face-to-face encounters with Cubans to heighten understanding of the current culture within the unique political and historical context of their country.

Please join us for this exciting cultural immersion!
